About the role

Site Manager Swansea, Pontarddulais area Start ASAP Approx. 4 weeks remaining £280 per shift Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm Bee Construction, trading as Site Managers, is recruiting on behalf of a client for an experienced Site Manager for a short term project in the Swansea area. This role is to step into an existing live project and pick things up quickly following a handover. The client would ideally like someone to start as soon as possible so there can be a proper crossover and handover on site. The project is based within a logistics and warehouse environment and involves overseeing sprinkler related works alongside racking contractors already operating on site. This is described as a steady enough job, but it is important that the right person can engage properly with the pipe fitters, cooperate with the rackers, communicate well with the client, and keep the paperwork and reporting side in good order. The role is likely to include: Overseeing sprinkler related works on site Working alongside pipe fitters and racking contractors Managing health and safety on site Daily reporting and site paperwork Keeping the programme moving Communicating properly with the client and wider site team Taking over from the current Site Manager through a short handover period To be considered, you must have: SMSTS First Aid CSCS card Previous experience as a Site Manager Experience managing subcontractors and site paperwork Good communication skills and the ability to take over a live site confidently Ideally, you will also have: Sprinkler experience Racking or warehouse project experience Black CSCS Card Rate is £280 per shift, Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm.
