Tax Accountant (PT/FT)

A small, friendly accountancy practice based in North Tyneside is looking to recruit a Tax Accountant to join the team on either a part-time or full-time basis. This is a flexible opportunity that could suit: An experienced tax specialist seeking part-time work, or A full-time accountant with both accounts and tax experience    Job Description: A small, friendly accountancy practice based in North Tyneside is looking to recruit a Tax Accountant to join the team on either a part-time or full-time basis. This is a flexible opportunity that could suit: An experienced tax specialist seeking part-time work, or A full-time accountant with both accounts and tax experience The Role You will be responsible for handling a varied portfolio of clients, with duties including: Preparation and submission of personal and/or corporate tax returns Tax planning and advisory work (depending on experience) Liaising with clients and HMRC Supporting general practice work where required For full-time applicants, the role can be split between tax and accounts work, depending on your skillset. About You We are looking for someone who: Has experience in personal and/or corporate tax Is comfortable working independently within a small practice Has good communication and client-facing skills Is reliable and well-organised For full-time roles, experience in preparing accounts would be beneficial.
