Job summaryWe are seeking an experienced and passionate Advanced Pain Lead Clinician to provide clinical leadership, oversee high-quality service delivery, and support multidisciplinary teams in achieving outstanding outcomes for the people we support in the Mid South Essex Pain Service.
As Lead Pain Clinician, you will play a pivotal role in shaping clinical practice, ensuring regulatory compliance, driving continuous improvement, and fostering a culture of excellence. You will work collaboratively with operational leaders and clinical colleagues to deliver safe, effective, and person-centred care.

Key Responsibilities
Provide professional and clinical leadership across the service.
Lead, supervise, and support a multidisciplinary team of clinicians.
Ensure clinical practice is evidence-based, safe, and aligned with regulatory requirements.
Oversee clinical governance, risk management, and quality improvement initiatives.
Support the assessment, planning, implementation, and review of care and treatment programmes.
Monitor clinical outcomes and utilise data to drive service improvements.
Contribute to workforce development through coaching, mentoring, and supervision.
Build effective relationships with service users, families, commissioners, and external stakeholders.
