Qualified Secondary Teaching Assistant Location: Newcastle upon Tyne Salary: Competitive (dependent on experience and qualifications) Contract: Permanent Full-TimeHours: Monday to Friday, 08:30 - 16:30 About the Role We are looking to appoint a committed and skilled Qualified Secondary Teaching Assistant to join a team at a secondary school in Newcastle. This role is based within an alternative provision setting, supporting students who require a more personalised and supportive approach to their education.You will work closely with teaching staff to provide targeted support, helping students to engage with learning, develop confidence, and overcome barriers to success. About the School The school offers a supportive and structured alternative provision for secondary-aged students. We pride ourselves on fostering a safe, inclusive environment where all learners are encouraged to reach their full potential through strong support networks and positive relationships.
