connect design and delivery in a civils interface role

You understand civil engineering design but you also want to see how that design actually gets built, sitting between the design team and the people delivering it on site.

This is a major UK construction and development business with a London presence, working across a wide range of commercial, residential and infrastructure projects. Design interface engineers here play a genuinely central role, making sure design intent survives contact with the practical realities of construction. The scale of the business also means real variety in the projects you will be exposed to over time. The scale of the business also means real variety in the projects you will be exposed to over time. If you have felt stuck purely on the design side, disconnected from how your work is actually built, this role changes that. You will act as the link between design teams and site delivery, resolving design and buildability issues before they become expensive problems, and building a rare, well rounded understanding of how projects actually come together.

It suits someone who wants a genuinely varied role that draws on both design knowledge and a practical, delivery focused mindset.
