This Autumn, Sticks'n'Sushi is coming to Birmingham - our first restaurant in the Midlands, opening in the Paradise development on Chamberlain Square. We serve high-quality, fresh food based on a unique combination of classic and creative sushi along with sticks from the grill, bringing a blend of Danish design, Japanese dining and generous hospitality. You will have walked a similar path before, but your spirit is ready for an Assistant General Manager role where you can bring your energy and vision, with a spark of dare! Assisting the General Manager to ensure elevated hospitality for each guest in how you lead a shift Motivating, coaching and inspiring your Fish (the wonderful team) Supporting the General Manager to grow a strong community of Guests, welcoming everyone equally A track record of confidence and hospitality excellence in previous roles. Previous experience as an Assistant General Manager/Deputy Manager in a high-volume, premium branded full table service restaurant An eye for detail, always upholding the highest standards and ensuring every shift is in the very safest pair of hands Genuine care for your team: your nurturing approach will make coaching & developing a natural focus, ensuring you have one of the happiest teams in the industry A 'Ja Tak' (Danish for "Yes, thank you") attitude, embodying our "big smile, small ego" spirit The desire to be part of a company that can help you flourish and become the best you can be How we will support your journey with us At Sticks'n'Sushi, we don't want people to stand still.
