Job ID: 18553Salary: 60 - 75k + pkgLocation: BirminghamRegion: Midlands, West MidlandsA Specialist Structures, FRC contractor is seeking an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor, due to our continued success,Specialising in formwork reinforcement and concrete (FRC), renowned for delivering major and complex infrastructure projects  in the Midlands, with a robust project pipelineAs Senior Quantity Surveyor, your responsibilities will include:Preparing, assessing and negotiating contract documentation, valuations and variationsDeveloping detailed cost estimates, budgets and cash flow forecastsManaging subcontractor procurement and commercial negotiationsLiaising with site teams and procurement to deliver cost-effective solutionsMonitoring project progress and financial performanceIdentifying, assessing and mitigating commercial risks throughout the project lifecycleHandling claims management, dispute resolution and final accounts settlementsProviding support and mentoring junior members of the team.Applicants must possess the following:BSc or MSc in Quantity Surveying or equivalent experiencePrevious experience as a Senior/Quantity Surveyor in the Civil Engineering industry, ideally on major infrastructure projects, a good understanding of FRC works will be an advantage.Sound knowledge of NEC forms of contractStrong interpersonal and organisational skillsFull UK driving license.As well as a competitive salary commensurate with experience the succesful candidate will recieve a Car or allowance, pension, development programme plus plenty more
