MITSU launches a bold new restaurant born from the collision of East Londons vibrance and creativity with East Tokyos neighborhood izakayas. MITSU cuisine blends the authentic Japanese craft of Robata fire and razor-sharp technique with the energy and attitude of Shoreditch - all designed to be enjoyed together.
The izakaya bar brings high energy with crafted cocktails and daily vinyl and DJ sets to toast the night with flowing sake and mizuwari tankards. THE ROLE
As a Bartender, you will be responsible for wowing our guests with exceptional service and making them feel at home in our Aethos bar and Restaurant.
Your tasks will include but will not be limited to:
Provide exceptional quality service to guests in a quick and efficient manner in line with hotel and brand standards
Able to organize and orchestrate the opening, operation, and closing of the Bar Lounge
A good working knowledge of all beverage products - particularly wine, liquor, and signature cocktails as well as a good working knowledge of all food products. (Excellent training will be given!)
Greet guests, take orders, serve and take payment in line with Mitsu philosophy and standards
Read tables and understand guest needs and dislikes

ABOUT YOU
Ideally you would have previous restaurant experience with the ability to engage and connect with a wide range of guests from different backgrounds, ideally gained in a similar Lifestyle boutique hotel, destination fine dining restaurant or cocktail lounge/bar.
Have an open and approachable manner and thrive on interacting with people
Have great communication skills, a sense of humour and a welcoming smile
An understanding of what it takes to provide outstanding levels of guest service
An eye for detail and be immaculately presented
