Due to continued growth in established markets and expansion into new areas, they are looking to expand their established Commercial team working on Highways project in SussexWith over 30 years’ experience operating throughout the UK, they provide a comprehensive range of Civil engineering & highways (minor & major civils work, highways and infrastructure).The RoleAs a key member of the commercial team, reporting into the Senior Quantity Surveyor and mentoring Grad /AQS’s, you will be responsible for procurement and management of subcontractors and supply chain. Managing projects from award through to final accounts, reporting on monthly cost/value reconciliations, assisting with change and managing variations.This is an exciting opportunity to work on a diverse portfolio of civil engineering projects, in a company that will offer you career growth.Key ExperienceDegree Qualified in Quantity Surveying or other relevant qualification and experienceCivil Engineering and Infrastructure experiencePrevious Main Contracting and or Sub Contractor experienceNEC contract experienceSub contract procurement and management experienceFinancial reporting, remeasurement and take-off experienceAs part of a lucrative Salary the successful candidate will get a package which will include, car or allowance, pension, health care and 25 days holiday.
