Job Description Food Production OperativeLocation: Newmarket Salary: £26,728 per annum Working Hours: 14:00pm - 22.00pm Monday to Friday Job Type: Full time | PermanentThe RoleMy client is looking for reliable and motivated Production Operatives to join their team in Newmarket. In this role you will help manufacture assemble and pack food products while following company procedures and product specifications. You will be part of a team that ensures production runs safely efficiently and to high standards of hygiene and quality.Key ResponsibilitiesWork safely at all times following company health and safety procedures and wearing the required PPEHandle food products while maintaining high personal hygiene and food safety standardsOperate machinery in line with training and relevant skillsWork across different areas of the production process to provide flexibilityEnsure equipment and work areas are cleaned to company hygiene standards before and during productionFollow a clean as you go approach keeping your area tidy dry and free from clutterCarry out basic production checks such as temperature product quality weight and labellingEnsure all products and racks are correctly labelled to maintain traceabilityComplete required paperwork and production records accurately and on timeReport any hazards defects or issues to the Team LeaderSupport product changeovers and machine set up when requiredWork with the team to achieve daily production targets while maintaining product quality and safetyBe ready and on the production line at the start of each shiftSkills Knowledge and ExperiencePrevious experience in a food manufacturing or production environment is preferredUnderstanding of hygiene and food safety standardsKnowledge of health and safety proceduresAbility to work effectively as part of a teamBasic English communication skillsWhat We Are Looking ForMy client is looking for dependable team players who are comfortable working in a fast paced production environment and are committed to maintaining high standards of safety hygiene and product quality.If this role aligns with what you are looking for we encourage you to apply below!TPBN1_UKTJ
