Near Penrith | Monday - Friday | 6:30am - 3:00pm Are you an experienced Manufacturing or Machine Operative looking for your next challenge? Our client, a well-established and respected manufacturer of concrete products based near Penrith, is seeking a Manufacturing Operative to join their growing team. This is an exciting opportunity to become part of a large UK organisation while working within a friendly, close-knit site team where your contribution will truly make a difference. The Role As a Manufacturing Operative, you will play a key role in the day-to-day production process, taking responsibility for overseeing product mixes and supporting the operation of the site's two main production lines. Key responsibilities include: Monitoring and controlling production processes from the control room Supervising the operation of the production lines Ensuring products are manufactured safely and to the required quality standards Assisting with machine operation and production activities Working closely with a small team to achieve production targets Maintaining a safe and efficient working environment Supporting continuous improvement initiatives across the site We are looking for someone who: Has previous experience within a manufacturing, production, or machine operative environment Has a positive, can-do attitude and is willing to get involved where required Enjoys working as part of a small team Is safety-conscious and takes pride in producing quality work Is reliable, motivated, and eager to learnFull training will be provided, making this an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build a long-term career within manufacturing.
