Due to continued growth, we are recruiting an experienced Extrusion Operative to join a busy and expanding production environment. What’s in it for you? £38,516 per annum (including shift premium) Full-time permanent position 4 on / 4 off shift pattern (excellent work-life balance) Career progression opportunities Stable, well-established business Supportive production team environment Long-term employment security Your Role As an Extrusion Operative, you will be responsible for setting up, running, and monitoring extrusion production lines to ensure high-quality output and efficient production performance. Key Responsibilities Set up and troubleshoot extrusion production lines to required specifications Visually inspect products for defects and ensure quality standards are met Prepare and assemble components for machinery Package products in line with customer procedures Carry out general production duties and departmental cover as required Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the work area Support production management with continuous improvement initiatives Follow all health & safety procedures at all times What We’re Looking For Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment Experience with thermoplastic and/or extrusion processes Strong attention to detail and quality focus Proactive and self-motivated approach Good communication and teamwork skills Strong sense of responsibility and ownership Understanding of safe systems of work and waste handling procedures Flexible approach to supporting different production areas Working Hours 4 on / 4 off shift pattern 7:00am – 7:00pm (days) 7:00pm – 7:00am (nights) Job Type Full-Time | Permanent Why Apply?
