About the role

Job Title

Stockroom Assistant (Full-Time, 40 Hours per Week)

Key Responsibilities

  • Receive, unpack, and process incoming deliveries.
  • Organise and maintain stockroom areas according to company standards.
  • Accurately replenish products on the sales floor.
  • Conduct regular stock counts and support inventory audits.
  • Use stock management systems and handheld devices to track inventory.
  • Ensure products are correctly labelled, stored, and rotated.
  • Assist with online order fulfilment, click-and-collect orders, and returns processing.
  • Maintain high standards of health, safety, and housekeeping in the stockroom.
  • Work closely with retail colleagues to ensure product availability and excellent customer service.
  • Help minimise stock loss by following security and loss-prevention procedures.

Skills and Qualifications

  • Previous retail, warehouse, or stockroom experience is preferred but not always required.
  • Strong organisational and time-management skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritise tasks effectively.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
  • Basic computer skills and experience using inventory systems are an advantage.
  • Ability to lift and move boxes safely and remain on your feet for extended periods.
  • Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.

Working Hours

Full-time position: 40 hours per week

Shifts may vary depending on store needs and can include early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
