TIG / MMA Pipe Welders - Hinkley Point C £29.34/hr basic | Overtime up to £52.82/hr | Bonus | £53.39/day Lodge Potential Yearly Gross Earnings - £113,000 per year 10 on / 4 off Mactech have multiple opportunities for TIG / MMA Pipe Welders for long-term work with Cavendish Nuclear, part of the MEH Alliance, at Hinkley Point C. We would like to speak to Welders with TIG and MMA experience from nuclear, power generation, oil & gas, petrochemical, refinery, marine, shipbuilding or similar heavy industrial environments. Pay & Benefits Days - £29.34/hr Nights - £35.94/hr OT1 - £41.08/hr OT2 - £52.82/hr Bonus - up to £2.94/hr Lodge allowance - £53.39/day (£373.73/week) if eligible Return rail travel and paid travel time if eligible Holiday allowance Contributory pension Sick pay Long-term employment Working Pattern The rotation runs Tuesday through to the following Thursday, with both dayshift and nightshift options available. What We're Looking For You should have experience in TIG and MMA welding, within high-integrity pipework or heavy industrial environments. You will need one of the following: Level 2 or Level 3 Welding/Fabrication qualification Welding Apprenticeship ACE Card - Pipe or Plate Welding Or a minimum of 5 years' relevant industry experience A valid CCNSG Safety Passport is required and can be obtained prior to starting. Weld Testings Successful candidates will be required to complete and pass the following weld tests Butt Weld 2" carbon steel pipe weld - 6G position (All TIG) Butt Weld 2" stainless steel pipe weld - 6G position (All TIG) Box to Plate multi pass carbon steel - PH position (TIG) Box to Plate multi pass stainless steel - PH position (TIG) Box to Plate structural steel - horizontal position (MMA) Interested?
