Mechanical Assembler Location: Poole and Bournemouth Salary: £26000 - £32000 DOE An established and growing engineering business is seeking a skilled Mechanical Assembler to join its production team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with hands-on assembly experience who takes pride in precision, quality, and working to high engineering standards. The Role as Mechanical Assembler You will be responsible for assembling mechanical components and sub-assemblies, ensuring all products are built accurately and meet strict quality requirements. The role involves working from technical drawings, using a variety of hand and power tools, and carrying out checks to ensure consistency and performance. Key Responsibilities as Mechanical Assembler * Assemble mechanical parts and sub-assemblies in line with engineering specifications * Interpret technical drawings, diagrams, and assembly instructions * Use hand tools and light machinery to complete assembly tasks * Carry out quality checks to ensure accuracy and compliance with standards * Support basic maintenance and repair of mechanical equipment where required * Work efficiently to meet production deadlines in a fast-paced environment About You * Previous experience in a mechanical assembly or similar hands-on role * Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work * Ability to read and understand engineering drawings * Good manual dexterity and practical problem-solving skills * Able to manage workload and meet tight deadlines Benefits as Mechanical Assembler * Parking onsite or nearby * Pension * Personal Development * Growing business, exciting times ahead INDMP
