Service Supervisor
About the role
Ready to come off the tools and take the next step in your career?
Are you an experienced refrigeration or air conditioning engineer with a knack for organising people, solving problems and keeping customers happy? Have you gained some team leadership experience and are ready to move into an office-based supervisory role?
This is an opportunity to join a well-established global refrigeration and HVAC business, part of a leading international group, where you can put your technical knowledge to use without carrying out hands-on engineering work.
Hybrid working from the Bristol office (1 - 2 days from home), you'll oversee a team of service engineers and technicians, coordinating workloads, supporting technical decisions and ensuring service, maintenance and installation work runs smoothly.
The information below covers the role requirements, expected candidate experience, and accompanying qualifications.
What will you be doing?
· Supervising and supporting a team of refrigeration and air conditioning engineers, technicians and apprentices.
· Planning and allocating service, maintenance, installation and repair work.
· Coordinating engineer workloads to ensure jobs are completed efficiently and customers receive an excellent service.
· Preparing labour estimates, customer quotations and supporting project work.
· Monitoring work in progress, costs and service performance to help achieve operational and financial targets.
· Providing technical guidance and support to engineers when required.
· Identifying training needs and helping develop the skills of the team.

What are we looking for?
