Internal Account Manager

Exact Sourcing is delighted to partner with a thriving, fast-paced logistics and supply chain solutions provider and due to impressive business growth and an expanding client base, they are now looking to add a new Internal Account Manager to their tight-knit team. Working in a small, close-knit team, where every voice matters and successes are celebrated together, we are seeking a proactive, high-energy Account Manager who genuinely loves connecting with people. This is not a cold-calling sales role. It is a fast-paced, highly relational position. If you are someone who prefers picking up the phone over hiding behind an email, thrives in a busy but supportive team environment, and can master new IT systems in a flash, this is the perfect career move for you. As the Account Manager you will be: * Proactively calling clients to follow up on quotes, confirm order details, and provide live updates on their products. * The primary point of contact for client questions, tracking requests, or issues, resolving them with empathy and urgency. * Accurately processing and managing an average of 30 client orders per day within the internal database. * Generating, delivering, and systematically following up on roughly 10 quotes per day to maximise business conversion. * Work collaboratively within a small team to share workloads during peak times and ensure excellent client coverage. * Liaise directly with internal transport and warehouse partners to ensure seamless execution. As the Account Manager you will have: * Proven experience in a fast-paced customer service, internal sales, or account management role logistics/freight experience is a plus, but not essential. * A confident and warm telephone manner; you genuinely enjoy talking to people and building rapport. * Ability to stay organised and calm while managing a daily workload of 40+ active tasks (orders + quotes). * A strong work ethic If you want to be a valued member of a growing, supportive team Exact Sourcing wants to hear from you!
