£37,500 per annum (depending on experience) We are currently recruiting for an experienced and driven Production Manager to join a well-established manufacturing company based in Dunstable. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who has progressed from a hands-on Production Operative role into production leadership and management. We are looking for a confident individual with a strong personality who can lead from the front, motivate teams, and maintain high production standards in a fast-paced environment. Experience within the glass manufacturing industry would be highly advantageous. Working Hours Initially, this role will be working 4 days per week: Monday to Thursday 06:00

16:30 or 07:00

17:30 There is potential for the role to move to a 5-day working week in the future: Monday to Friday 07:30

16:00 Key Responsibilities Oversee daily production operations to ensure efficiency and quality targets are achieved Lead, manage, and motivate production teams Monitor productivity, performance, and workflow Ensure health & safety procedures are followed at all times Support continuous improvement initiatives across production Manage staffing levels, training, and team development Work closely with senior management to meet operational objectives Maintain high standards of housekeeping and compliance Candidate Requirements Previous experience within a manufacturing or production environment Experience progressing from Production Operative level into a supervisory or management role Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate teams Confident communicator with a proactive and resilient approach Strong organisational and problem-solving skills Glass manufacturing experience preferred but not essential Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines Whats on Offer Permanent full-time position Opportunity to join a stable and growing business Supportive working environment
