Job Title: Paraplanner
Location: Cheltenham
Salary: £42,000 £60,000 (DOE)

About the Company: A professional financial planning environment focused on delivering high-quality, compliant, and client-centred advice. The business operates to strong regulatory standards and encourages collaboration between Advisers, Paraplanners, and Administrators to ensure consistent and positive client outcomes.
Key Responsibilities: Act as the key point of contact for the Adviser
Support and monitor Administrators to ensure timely completion of tasks
Provide on-the-job training and development support to Administrators
Attend client meetings where required
Liaise with clients on behalf of the Adviser, ensuring excellent service and adherence to TCF principles
Analyse technical information gathered by Administrators
Obtain technical information directly from product providers
Support team administration as required
Maintain clear and consistent communication with Advisers and Administrators throughout the advice process
Prepare accurate and compliant Suitability Reports
Assist with supporting documentation including illustrations, key features, and provider packs
Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records and KYC information
Ensure all data and reporting is accurate and updated in a timely manner
Work collaboratively to improve internal processes and operational efficiency
Adhere to FCA and PRA regulatory requirements including MiFID II, COBS, GDPR, and internal policies
Comply with FCA Certification and Conduct Rules at all times
Maintain a professional, polite, and positive attitude at all times
Undertake any other reasonable duties as required
What Were Looking For: Experience in paraplanning or technical financial planning support
Strong knowledge of financial products, pensions, investments, and protection
Excellent report writing and technical analysis skills
Strong understanding of FCA regulations and suitability requirements
Ability to manage workload effectively and support multiple Advisers/teams
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
High attention to detail and accuracy
Desirable Skills: Diploma in Financial Planning (or working towards Level 4 minimum)
Experience working in a regulated financial advice environment
Strong provider platform knowledge and technical research skills
Experience mentoring or supporting junior team members
