We are currently seeking an experienced Panel Technician to join our client's team in Wigan. The successful individual will be responsible for delivering high-quality panel repairs and replacements, ensuring customer satisfaction while adhering to industry standards. Benefits of the Panel Beater: Up to £55,000 basic salary per annum, dependent on experience and qualifications, plus bonus 25 days holiday plus bank holidays Access to comprehensive training programmes, both internal and external Pension scheme and death in service cover Enhanced maternity and paternity pay Provided work uniformDuties of the Panel Beater: Perform panel repairs and replacements with precision and attention to detail Detect and diagnose additional faults for further repairs Follow repair procedures in accordance with Thatcham, manufacturer, and insurance guidelines Conduct test welds and document results throughout the repair process Prepare damaged areas using body filler and sanding to a high standard Manage parts inventory, including storing reusable parts securely Ensure vehicle protection is maintained throughout the repair process Maintain high standards of housekeeping and safety compliance Report any damages or parts needing repair to the relevant departments promptly Follow health and safety regulations, including COSHH requirements Complete repairs adhering to BS 10125 standardsRequirements of the Panel Beater: Proven experience as a Panel Beater or Panel Technician within a bodyshop environment Ideally qualified to IMI or ATA standards Strong attention to quality and detail as a Panel Beater Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment Excellent team player with a positive attitude Full UK driving licence is preferredContact Paul Martin, Automotive Recruitment Specialist at Perfect Placement covering Wigan and Greater Manchester, today to discover more about this fantastic Panel Beater opportunity.
