Lead Electrical Engineer

to oversee engineering operations within a

high-end commercial building in Hemel Hempstead .

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a well-established and growing business that offers genuine long-term career progression. You'll lead a small on-site engineering team, taking responsibility for the day-to-day operation of the building and ensuring all maintenance and compliance activities are delivered to the highest standard.

Key Responsibilities Lead and support the on-site engineering team, ensuring maintenance activities are completed safely and efficiently. Manage planned preventative maintenance (PPM) schedules and reactive maintenance across the site. Oversee statutory compliance, maintenance logbooks, and site documentation. Ensure electrical and mechanical building services are maintained to a high standard. Liaise with contractors, suppliers, and the client to ensure excellent service delivery. Support the day-to-day operation of the building, responding to breakdowns and maintenance issues as required. Maintain compliance with health & safety legislation and company procedures.

Requirements Electrically qualified with an electrical bias. Previous experience working within commercial building services or facilities maintenance. Experience supervising engineers or looking to step into a lead role. Strong communication and organisational skills. Right to work in the UK.
