Located in the beautiful village of Benderloch by Oban, we offer small group living accommodation for up to 62-residents.

Housekeeping / Laundry Assistant Contract

  •  £12.71 per hour
  •  Contracted to 32 hours per week
  •  Paid PVG, pension, uniform provided
  •  5.6 weeks annual leave (based on a full time contract)

As Housekeeping Assistant, you will play a key role in maintaining a clean, safe and welcoming environment while also supporting laundry services. This is a varied, hands on role where your attention to detail and high standards will directly impact comfort, dignity and daily wellbeing.
You will be responsible for cleaning residents’ rooms, bathrooms and communal areas, ensuring all spaces are maintained to a high standard of hygiene and presentation. Alongside this, you will support laundry duties including washing, drying, ironing and returning clothing correctly, ensuring all items are clearly labelled and handled with care.
Working closely with the wider team, you will follow infection control, health and safety and housekeeping procedures, ensuring all tasks are carried out safely and efficiently. Your role will contribute to a well organised and comfortable environment where individuals feel respected and supported.

  •  Good communication skills
  •  Understanding of hygiene and infection control is beneficial
  •  Previous experience is welcomed but not essential
