Receptionist Administrator – Edinburgh, Scotland Location: Edinburgh, Scotland Position Type: Permanent, Full-time | Receptionist Administrator Industry: Chartered Accountancy / Business Support & Administration Salary: £22,000 – £26,000 (depending on experience and qualifications) About the Role We’re representing a well-established and highly regarded independent accountancy and business advisory firm based in Edinburgh, known for delivering trusted financial and advisory services to SMEs, owner-managed businesses, and individuals across Scotland. Due to continued growth, they are seeking a Receptionist Administrator to join their professional support team. Key Responsibilities * Welcome visitors and provide a professional front-of-house experience * Answer incoming telephone calls, manage enquiries, and direct messages appropriately * Scan, distribute, and manage incoming and outgoing mail * Prepare letters, documentation, and correspondence for clients * Maintain visitor logs, meeting room bookings, and boardroom diaries * Update client information and prepare fee notes using Practice Management Software * Support the smooth day-to-day running of the office, including stationery and kitchen supplies * Liaise with suppliers regarding office facilities and maintenance requirements * Carry out general administrative support duties across the wider team * Assist with Fire Marshal responsibilities where required Ideal Candidate Profile * Previous experience within a busy office or professional services environment * Minimum of 4 National 5 qualifications (or equivalent), including English at Grade C or above * Strong communication skills, both written and verbal * Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office systems * Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities * Professional, approachable, and client-focused attitude * High attention to detail and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment Why This Opportunity Stands Out * Competitive salary of £22,000 – £26,000 depending on experience * Career development opportunities within a growing firm * Workplace pension and life cover * Employee Assistance Programme including GP24 access * Access to wellbeing, fitness, and lifestyle resources * High street discount platform and employee benefits scheme * Supportive and collaborative working culture
