RRDN Speciality Lead – Gastroenterology & Hepatology

The Regional Research Delivery Network (RRDN) Specialty Lead – Gastroenterology & Hepatology role is available within the South West Central region hosted by University Hospital Bristol and Weston NHS Foundation Trust. It is a part‑time position of 4 hours per week (0.1 wte). Applicants must be leaders active in the delivery of NIHR RDN portfolio research.

Responsibilities:

• Provide leadership and advice to support research delivery within the RRDN.
• Participate in regional or national projects relating to specialty or setting capacity, capability and accessibility for research delivery.
• Act as the link between the regional, geographically based RRDNs and national networks of expertise.
• Drive development and performance of the RDN within the Gastroenterology & Hepatology specialty.

Qualifications:

• Relevant health and care team member based in the South West Central region.
• Leadership experience in NIHR RDN portfolio research.
• Appropriate UK professional registration.
