Operations Line LeadGlanbia Performance Nutrition Join this dynamic team focused on delivering better nutrition for every step of life’s journey.The OpportunityReporting to the Operations Shift Manager, the OLL is employed to manage the overall effectiveness of an area of the Middlesbrough factory covering up to 2 functional areas or lines. They are accountable for the safety and wellbeing of their team and all aspects of food safety. Their core purpose is to achieve or exceed all functional area KPIs covering Safety, Quality, Cost and Efficiency.Nothing is so important that it can’t be done safely; the welfare of your colleagues is paramount and you must promote and support a safe working environment and foster a culture of “safety first”.Job SummaryDeveloping housekeeping standards, task lists and auditing compliance to 5S standardsIdentifying hazards in the workplace and reducing riskCarrying out Risk assessments for all operationsLeading SEAT meeting to temperature check safety cultureCreating SOPs for all tasks and carrying out Operational work diagnosis to confirm and improve SOPsReviewing material usage using supporting systems (Yields, scan data & SAP)Managing data accuracyInterrogating data systems to share key points with Team and LeadershipCarrying out basic problem solvingUpdating visual management systemsManaging and reviewing KPI's - OEE, CTP, Q, EHS, YIELD at meetingsEffecting 2 way communicationDeliver or facilitate training delivery to Line Teams based on agreed plansMaintaining hygiene and housekeeping standardsManaging Food safety standardsSupporting workplace organisation using 5S methodologyTraining of team members in SOPsIdentifying skills gaps and confirming skills are available for production by managing the production rota for the lineMaintaining inventory protocols eg scanning, material controlQualification & Experience RequirementsPrevious food industry experience preferred in an equivalent positionEnrolment or planned enrolment in further developmental qualification (eg ILM, NVQ)Basic Food Hygiene and Health & Safety:Excellent communication skills:Attention to detail:Strong interpersonal skills - Team player:Demonstrated Leadership skills:Numeracy and data management.
