Hub Manager (WCR 3 MID – Management)
Location: Westminster (Rampayne Street Community Hub)
Contract: 3-month rolling contract
Rate: Competitive (via Aatom Recruitment)
Aatom Recruitment are currently seeking an experienced Hub Manager to work on behalf of a local authority, leading the day-to-day operations of a busy and vibrant community hub in Westminster.
About the Role
This is a hands-on, on-site leadership role at the heart of a thriving community space. You will play a key role in supporting residents, partners, and frontline services while ensuring the hub operates safely, effectively, and inclusively.
As the senior on-site manager, you will take full responsibility for the overall running of the hub, leading staff and volunteers, delivering a dynamic programme of activities, and building strong partnerships that reflect local needs and priorities.
Working Pattern
* 4 days per week (primarily on-site)
* Includes two weekday evenings and Saturdays
Key Responsibilities
* Lead the day-to-day operations of the community hub
* Ensure compliance with health & safety, safeguarding, and operational standards
* Design and deliver a programme of engaging and inclusive community activities
* Build and maintain effective partnerships with residents, local organisations, and council services
* Line manage staff, support volunteers, and promote a positive team culture
* Manage budgets, monitor performance, and report on impact and outcomes
About You
We are looking for a confident and proactive leader who thrives in a busy, community-facing environment. You will be approachable, organised, and passionate about creating a safe and welcoming space for all.
Essential Skills & Experience
* Experience working within a community hub, community centre, or similar setting
* Proven ability to engage with local communities and develop strong partnerships
* Experience in operational management, including staff supervision, safeguarding, budgeting, and health & safety
* Ability to plan and deliver inclusive community programmes
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Additional Information
* No formal qualifications required – relevant experience is essential
* Enhanced DBS check required
* This is a temporary position with potential for extension
