We are recruiting on behalf of a stunning coastal hotel and restaurant on the Suffolk coastline for an experienced Sous Chef to join the kitchen team.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a Sous Chef looking to work within a quality driven fresh food operation in one of the UKs most desirable seaside locations.
The venue has built a strong reputation for relaxed but high quality hospitality, attracting both loyal locals and destination visitors throughout the year. With a strong focus on seasonal produce, seafood and modern British cooking, this role would suit a chef who is passionate about fresh ingredients and delivering consistently high standards.

The Role Support the Head Chef with the day-to-day running of the kitchen
Lead the brigade during busy services
Maintain high standards of food quality and presentation
Assist with menu development and seasonal specials
Ensure excellent kitchen organisation and food hygiene standards
Support stock control, ordering and GP management
Work across restaurant and hotel food operations
The Ideal Candidate Previous experience as a Sous Chef or strong Junior Sous Chef
Fresh-food background essential
Passion for seasonal and locally sourced ingredients
Calm and organised during busy services
Positive and hands-on approach within the kitchen
Strong communication and team leadership skills
