Operational Risk Lead - 6 Month Contract

Lutine Bell are currently supporting a leading International Bank based in London to appoint an Operational Risk Lead to join their expanding team.

Contract - 6 Months

Day Rate - c£400 (via umbrella Inside IR35)

About the role

This position operates strictly within the Second Line of Defence, providing independent oversight and challenge of the Bank’s management of operational risk. The role is responsible for establishing and maintaining the Operational Risk Management Framework, ensuring it remains fit-for-purpose, robust, and fully aligned with regulatory requirements.

Working closely with the First Line, the role oversees the RCSA framework, challenging risk and control assessments where necessary and escalating material issues through appropriate governance forums. The role owns the development of operational risk policies, procedures, and supporting systems, and is responsible for delivering Branch‑wide training to promote a consistent understanding and application of operational risk standards.
