Fire Pump Service Technician
Location: Yorkshire/North England

The Role
We are looking for an experienced Fire Pump Service Engineer to join our team, responsible for the servicing, maintenance, testing, fault-finding and repair of fire pump systems across commercial, industrial and other specialist sites.
The successful candidate will have a strong mechanical background and ideally experience working with fire pump systems, diesel and electric-driven pumps, and associated firefighting equipment.
Key Responsibilities

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and servicing of fire pump systems.
• Attend reactive breakdowns and diagnose mechanical and electrical faults.
• Service, test and maintain diesel and electric fire pumps.
• Carry out routine testing and performance checks in line with relevant standards and manufacturer requirements.
• Inspect pump sets, controllers, valves, pipework and associated equipment.
• Identify faults and recommend appropriate repairs or remedial works.
• Complete pump overhauls, component replacements and general mechanical repairs.
• Commission and test new or refurbished fire pump systems where required.
• Complete accurate service reports, job sheets and maintenance records.
• Liaise professionally with customers and site personnel.
• Ensure all work is completed safely and in accordance with company procedures and relevant health and safety requirements
