Sprinkler Design Engineer - Hybrid Working
Salary/Package - £60k - £65k Basic + Benefits
Location - Hybrid ( Manchester office )
My client is looking for a 3D Sprinkler Design Engineer to join their established fire protection division. You'll play a key role in delivering high-quality, compliant sprinkler systems for commercial projects across the UK.
What you'll do
*
Produce accurate sprinkler system designs using 3D CAD modelling and BIM coordination tools
*
Work from initial concept through to installation drawings, ensuring LPCB and BS EN standards compliance
*
Liaise with project managers, clients, and site teams to ensure smooth delivery
*
Calculate hydraulic requirements and prepare technical submissions
*
Keep up to date with the latest codes, standards, and best practices in fire suppression
What you'll need
*
LPCB Basic Design qualification advantageous
*
Proven experience in sprinkler system design within the UK market
*
Strong 3D CAD / BIM skills (e.g. AutoCAD, Revit, or similar)
*
Solid understanding of LPC rules, BS EN 12845, and relevant fire safety legislation
*
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
