Our client is one of the UK’s leading pallet delivery and distribution service providers, with a growing depot in Newton-le-Willows. They are expanding their driver team and offering full-time permanent positions with a competitive salary and a strong benefits package.

The Role

You will carry out multi-drop and general deliveries across the WN and WA postcode areas, working within the pallet network. Typical hours are 07:00–17:00, Monday to Friday, with staggered start times available. You will liaise directly with the Transport Manager and wider transport team on deliveries and collections.

Key Responsibilities

Completing daily multi-drop deliveries across WN and WA postcode areas

Communicating with the transport team regarding collections and any delivery updates

Operating in compliance with drivers’ hours regulations and tachograph law

Representing our client professionally with excellent customer service on every drop

Skills & Experience

Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence

Driver CPC card (essential)

Minimum 6 months experience preferred, new passes considered

Sound knowledge of drivers’ hours regulations and tachograph use

Strong communication, organisational, and customer service skills

Benefits

£38,930 per annum (£748 per week)

Overtime available at £21.39 per hour

Optional Saturdays at a flat day rate of £175
