About the role

New Financial Crime Manager role working with fast-growing MGA operating within the Lloyd’s market. You will lead the day-to-day financial crime framework for UK regulated entities and wider group. The role covers money laundering and terrorist financing, sanctions, bribery and corruption, and fraud.Key Responsibilities:• Own the firm's financial crime framework, policies and procedures, ensuring alignment with FCA, Lloyd's and regulatory expectations.• Lead the enterprise-wide financial crime risk assessment and maintain proportionate controls across AML, sanctions, fraud, bribery & corruption and terrorist financing.• Oversee sanctions screening, transaction monitoring and case management, including complex specialty risks, alert adjudication, escalation and control effectiveness.• Oversee financial crime risks within delegated authorities, including coverholder due diligence, binder requirements and ongoing oversight.• Act as Deputy MLRO, managing internal suspicion reporting, SARs/DAML submissions, escalation and associated record keeping.• Provide financial crime advice, MI and training to the business; monitor regulatory developments, breaches and emerging risks and report to senior management.• Support audits, assurance and regulatory engagement, ensuring financial crime remediation is delivered through to completion.Key Skills and Experience:• Minimum three + years' relevant financial crime experience within the insurance industry.• London Market/ MGA experience is highly desirable.• Experience deputising for or supporting an MLRO is highly desirable.Discipline(s): Audit, Risk & ComplianceJob type: Permanent
