Are you passionate about supporting students to make the right choices about their education and future?
Join our Customer Services team as a Senior Admissions Advice and Guidance Officer, where you’ll provide advice and guidance to prospective students, support the admissions and enrolment process and represent New College Swindon at schools and external events.
What you'll do
Provide advice, guidance and information to prospective students and applicants.
Interview students and support appropriate course offers and placements.
Lead the delivery College Experience, Open Days and other admissions events.
Represent the College at schools, parent evenings and external events.
Work with curriculum teams to support applications and student recruitment.
Provide support and operational oversight to the wider Admissions, Advice & Guidance team.
What we're looking for
Level 2 English and Maths, or a commitment to achieve these within 24 months.
NVQ Level 2 in Advice and Guidance, or a commitment to gain this qualification.
Experience delivering Information, Advice and Guidance to diverse audiences.
Experience supporting events and outreach activities.
Excellent customer service, communication and interpersonal skills.
The ability to build effective relationships with students, parents, carers, schools and external providers.
A flexible and proactive approach to work, including an evening a week and occasional weekends.
Full clean driving licence and access to your own car.
