Job DescriptionWe're looking for a Data, AI & Emerging Technology Risk Senior Analyst to join our Group Risk team.This is an opportunity to help shape how Legal & General oversees and manages risk across some of the most exciting and fast-moving areas of technology. You'll play a key role in ensuring data, AI and emerging technologies are implemented responsibly, safely and in line with appropriate governance standards.Working closely with senior stakeholders across the business, you'll provide independent oversight, challenge and insight while helping the organisation navigate an evolving regulatory and technology landscape.What you’ll be doing:Providing second line oversight of Data, AI and Emerging Technology risk frameworksReviewing and challenging governance, controls and risk management activities across the businessSupporting assurance reviews and thematic risk assessmentsMonitoring emerging technology trends and identifying potential risks and opportunitiesProducing insightful reports and papers for senior leadership and risk committeesWorking with first line teams to assess policy implementation and control effectivenessDeveloping meaningful risk metrics and management informationBuilding strong relationships with stakeholders across technology, data and risk functionsWho we’re looking for:Experience in second line risk, audit or assurance within Financial ServicesKnowledge of data governance, data management, AI governance, privacy or technology riskAbility to challenge constructively and influence stakeholders at multiple levelsStrong report writing, communication and presentation skillsExperience supporting governance, change or oversight activitiesUnderstanding of cloud technologies and modern data environmentsKnowledge of evolving regulations including GDPR or AI-related frameworksA collaborative mindset with strong analytical and problem-solving skillsNice to haves:GDPR knowledgeEU AI Act knowledgeCloud platform exposure (AWS, Azure, Snowflake)CRISC, CISA, CISSP, CDMP, DCAM or AIGP certificationEmerging technology risk experienceInsurance or banking sector experienceWhatever your role, we reward performance and behaviour with a package that looks after all the things that are important to you.
