About the Role

Randstad Education is currently recruiting a proactive SEN Learning Support Assistant (LSA) for immediate start across secondary schools and specialist college settings in Chelmsford. You will support students aged 11-19+ with diverse learning needs, including Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC), Moderate Learning Difficulties (MLD), and speech, language, and communication barriers.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide dedicated 1:1 and small-group academic support across Key Stages 3, 4, and FE vocational courses.
Assist pupils in following classroom instructions, breaking down curriculum tasks, and staying engaged.
Help students develop self-regulation strategies and confidence in both academic and social situations.
Support personal care, mobility, and dignity routines where outlined in individual pupil care plans.
Work collaboratively with class teachers, SENCos, and pastoral leads to monitor EHCP targets.
