Warehouse Forklift Driver

About the Role We are currently recruiting for a Warehouse Operative/Forklift Driver to join a well-established and growing business based in Chichester. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking for long-term work within a supportive environment, offering variety in daily tasks and the chance to develop new skills. This role is split between warehouse duties forklift  operations, making it ideal for someone hands-on, organised, and proactive. Key Responsibilities Warehouse & Distribution General warehouse duties including handling, packing, and dispatch Assisting with deliveries and collections from local companies Maintaining accurate distribution and stock records Identifying and reporting damaged or incorrect goods Supporting retail packaging and order preparation Ensuring the warehouse is clean, safe, and organised Operating equipment including a counterbalance forklift and stacker Stock Control Supporting stock management, audits, and stock level control Working closely with internal teams to maintain stock accuracy Administration Assisting with stock data processing (goods in/out) Preparing shipping documentation Health & Safety Following all health & safety procedures Contributing to a safe and efficient working environment What We’re Looking For Valid Counterbalance Forklift Licence (or willingness to train) Full UK Driving Licence  – essential Willingness to travel locally for deliveries/collections Experience in a warehouse or similar environment Ability to carry out manual handling/heavy lifting High attention to detail and accuracy Good organisation and time management skills A proactive and reliable team player What’s on Offer £14.15 per hour + bonus On-site parking Stable, long-term opportunity Training and development opportunities Varied and hands-on role Hours: 37 hours per week (8 hours per day across 4 days + 1 shorter day) Working between 07:00 – 17:00 (as rostered) For more information CLICK apply and we will give you a call to speak about your application  Kingdom People is an recriutment agency
