Night Shift Manager – Food Manufacturing West Yorkshire £50,000 – £60,000 + Benefits | 6pm – 6am A well-invested, growing food manufacturing business is seeking a Night Shift Manager to take full ownership of site operations on nights. This is a hands-on leadership role where you’ll lead a team of roughly 20, drive performance, and play a key part in delivering output, quality, and safety across a fast-paced production environment. The Opportunity You’ll be given real autonomy to run the shift, improve standards, and develop your team—within a business that is continuing to grow and invest in its people and processes. This role offers clear scope to progress into more senior operational leadership positions. Key Responsibilities * Lead, motivate, and develop a team of circa 20 operators and line leaders * Deliver production targets while maintaining high standards of quality and food safety * Drive a strong health & safety culture across the shift * Manage performance, resolve issues, and keep operations running efficiently * Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities About You * Proven experience in a food manufacturing leadership role (Shift Manager / Supervisor level) * Strong, hands-on leadership style with the ability to engage teams on the shop floor * Solid understanding of food safety standards (HACCP, GMP) * Performance-driven with a proactive, problem-solving mindset What’s on Offer * £50,000 – £60,000 (DOE) salary + bonus * A key leadership role with real ownership of the night shift * Long-term progression into senior management * Stable, growing business with ongoing investment
