Salary: £22,996 – £25,068 (actual annual salary, dependent on experience and qualifications)
Contract: Full-Time, Permanent (Term Time Only)
Hours: 8:00am – 4:30pm
Additional Information: £1,000 welcome bonus*

The Opportunity
We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to support our students in their learning and development.
This is a highly rewarding role where you will make a meaningful difference every day, supporting young people in both academic and vocational settings, and helping them to build the skills they need for life.
The Role
As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting teaching and learning, working closely with staff to create a positive and inclusive environment.
Your responsibilities will include:
Supporting teaching staff to deliver learning and provide additional explanation where needed
Promoting safeguarding and the welfare of students at all times
Supporting students to meet and exceed their Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP) targets
Encouraging positive behaviour and adapting approaches to meet individual needs
Accurately recording incidents, accidents, and health & safety information
Supporting participation in group activities, including vocational and life skills sessions
Encouraging positive social interaction and relationship-building
About You
While previous experience is not essential, a genuine passion for supporting young people is key.
Successful candidates are likely to demonstrate:
The ability to manage a range of behaviours, including those that may be challenging
A child-centred approach, treating each young person as an individual
Creativity and positivity in supporting learning and development
Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills
Good numeracy, literacy and ICT skills
The ability to meet the physical demands of the role

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
