History Lecturer - Taster Courses (Full-Time, Temporary) Location: Greater Manchester Contract: Full-Time, Temporary (1st June - End of Term) Rate: £30 - £35 per hour Eden Brown are seeking an enthusiastic and knowledgeable History Lecturer to deliver engaging taster courses to prospective students at our further education college. This is a fantastic opportunity to inspire learners and share your passion for history in a dynamic and supportive environment. The role is full-time on a temporary basis from 1st June until the end of term. Key Responsibilities: * Deliver taster sessions that showcase the breadth and excitement of history. * Engage students through innovative teaching methods and interactive activities. * Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback. * Collaborate with colleagues to ensure courses are well-coordinated and effective. Essential Requirements: * Relevant teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, CertEd) or equivalent experience. * Strong subject knowledge in history. * Experience teaching or presenting to groups, ideally in a further education setting. * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. * Ability to inspire and motivate learners of diverse backgrounds.
