Materials Controller / Storekeeper

Materials Controller / Storekeeper – Engineering Manufacturing £14.00–£15.00 per hour (DOE) Full-time | Monday - Friday | Early Finish Fridays (1pm) The Role * Hands-on stores and materials control role within a busy engineering environment * Responsible for goods inwards, stock control, materials issue and despatch * Working with raw materials, fabricated and machined parts, tooling and finished equipment * Picking and issuing materials to production teams and preparing kits for jobs * Carrying out stock checks, maintaining traceability and supporting inventory accuracy * Operating FLT equipment and supporting loading/unloading activities * Supporting health & safety, quality and ISO procedures across the stores function Ideal Candidate * Previous experience within manufacturing stores or materials control * Forklift licence essential * Comfortable handling engineered or heavy components * Able to read basic engineering drawings * Organised, reliable and computer literate (ERP/Excel/Outlook) * Engineering or mechanical background advantageous What’s On Offer * Competitive hourly rate depending on experience * 5 weeks holiday plus bank holidays * Pension scheme * Stable long-term opportunity within an established engineering environment Interviews will happen ASAP so please apply today if interested
