Teacher of Mathematics
Location: Northampton, Northamptonshire
Salary: MPS/UPS (dependent on experience)
Contract: Full-time, Permanent
Start Date:September 2026
Are you a passionate and dedicated Mathematics teacher looking to inspire the next generation of learners? We are seeking an enthusiastic Teacher of Mathematics to join a thriving secondary school in Northampton.
This is an exciting opportunity for both early career teachers and experienced practitioners who are committed to delivering high-quality teaching and achieving excellent outcomes for students.
The Role
You will:
Plan and deliver engaging and challenging Mathematics lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4 (with potential for Key Stage 5, depending on experience)
Foster a positive learning environment where all students feel supported and motivated to succeed
Use a variety of teaching strategies to meet the needs of all learners
Monitor and assess student progress, providing timely feedback to support improvement
Contribute to the ongoing development of the Maths curriculum
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
A strong subject knowledge in Mathematics
A commitment to high standards of teaching and learning
The ability to inspire and motivate students of all abilities
Excellent classroom management skills
A collaborative and proactive approach to working within a team

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
