General Operative (Finishing) Location: Wellington Hours: 42.5 per week Pay: £13.00-£13.50 per hour

Monday – Thursday: 07:30 – 17:00
Friday: 08:00 – 15:00
About the Role We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Welder to join the team in a finishing role. You will be responsible for ensuring products are completed to a high standard before dispatch. This is a hands-on position, ideal for someone who takes pride in their work and thrives in a fast-paced production environment.
Key Responsibilities Perform finishing tasks including sanding, trimming, polishing, cleaning and surface preparation
Inspect products to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications
Safely operate hand tools, power tools and finishing equipment
Work to production schedules and meet daily targets
Maintain a clean, organised and safe working environment
Collaborate with colleagues to ensure smooth workflow
Complete quality checks and production documentation
Adhere to all health and safety procedures
Skills & Experience Previous experience in manufacturing or finishing is advantageous, but not essential
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
Good xwzovoh hand–eye coordination and confidence using tools
Ability to follow instructions and work to deadlines
Reliable, punctual and a team player
Own transport required due to location and working hours
