Maintenance Technician (Electrical Bias)Location: CardiffSalary: £43,000 – £45,000 + BonusShift Pattern: Monday to Friday (6:00am – 2:00pm / 2:00pm – 10:00pm)

A well-established and growing manufacturing business based in Cardiff is currently looking to strengthen its engineering team with the appointment of a skilled Maintenance Technician with a strong electrical bias.

Key Responsibilities:

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance across site equipment
• Diagnose and repair electrical faults efficiently to minimise downtime
• Fault finding and troubleshooting on PLC-controlled machinery
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance equipment reliability and performance
• Work closely with production teams to ensure minimal disruption to operations
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and ensure compliance with health & safety standards

Key Requirements:

• Electrically biased with relevant engineering qualifications (e.g. NVQ Level 3, HNC, or equivalent)
• Proven experience in a Maintenance Technician or similar role within a manufacturing xwzovoh environment
• Strong PLC fault finding and troubleshooting experience
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement
• Good communication skills and a flexible attitude
