Job Title: CNC Miller Programmer Location: HD4 (Huddersfield area) Pay Rate: £16.00 – £19.00 per hour (depending on experience) Shift: Days Job Description: We are currently recruiting for a skilled CNC Miller Programmer to join a well-established engineering company based in the HD4 area. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced programmer looking for a stable role on a day shift with competitive pay. Key Responsibilities: * Programming, setting, and operating CNC milling machines * Creating and editing programs using Fanuc, Heidenhain, or similar controls * Reading and interpreting complex engineering drawings * Selecting appropriate tooling and setting machine parameters * Producing high-quality components to tight tolerances * Troubleshooting and resolving machining issues * Working closely with production and engineering teams Requirements: * Proven experience as a CNC Miller Programmer * Strong knowledge of CNC programming (online or offline) * Ability to work independently from drawings to finished part * Experience with 3, 4, or 5-axis machining (advantageous) * High attention to detail and quality standards Benefits: * £16.00 – £19.00 per hour (DOE) * Day shift (excellent work-life balance) * Overtime opportunities available * Secure, long-term position with a growing company How to Apply: If you have the required skills and experience, please submit your CV or get in touch for more information
