A full-time opportunity has become available for a reliable and proactive School Premises Assistant to join a supportive primary school in Waltham Forest. This long-term role is available for an immediate start and offers a competitive daily rate of £90 to £110, depending on experience.

Do you have experience working as a Premises Assistant or Caretaker within a school setting? Are you confident carrying out basic maintenance, health & safety checks, and site security duties? Are you reliable, hands-on, and able to work independently?

The Role - School Premises Assistant As a School Premises Assistant, you will be responsible for the day-to-day maintenance, safety, and security of the school site. You will carry out routine checks, minor repairs, and ensure the premises are clean, safe, and well-maintained at all times.

Duties will include opening and closing the school, managing deliveries, setting up rooms for events, and ensuring health and safety regulations are adhered to. You may also be required to liaise with contractors and support with general upkeep of the school grounds.
