Location: IsleworthSalary: £29,739 – £31,846 (FTE)Hours: 9am- Monday to Friday (40 hours per week, includes 1-hour paid lunch break)

About the Role

My client is based in Isleworth in an educational setting and seeking a Site Assistant to join their team. They are a multi-faith school with a strong community ethos, committed to creating a safe, welcoming, and supportive environment for pupils and staff. Their focus is on service, respect, and helping everyone reach their full potential.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as a key holder, opening and locking the school as directed by the Senior Site Manager.
  • Receive deliveries, distribute goods, and maintain accurate records.
  • Set up and clear away furniture for school events and provide general porterage support.
  • Maintain tidiness and safety of outdoor areas, including litter removal and gritting paths during icy conditions.
  • Carry out minor maintenance and repair work on buildings and report issues requiring contractors.
  • Monitor health and safety compliance and report concerns promptly.
  • Supervise school gates to prevent unauthorised access when required.
  • Escort contractors on-site, ensuring adherence to safety procedures and quality standards.
  • Assist with cleaning and site clearance during adverse weather conditions.
  • Respond promptly to site requests logged via the site team inbox and in house system.
  • Support school events such as Celebration Evenings and Parents’ Evenings.
