This exciting 90-cover central London restaurant has an immediate vacancy for an experienced Sous Chef to strengthen the team.
The menu is shaped by the seasons and showcases open fire cooking, in-house butchery, dry aged meats, house pickles and ferments. There is an open theatre kitchen & Grill, separate prep kitchen, counter dining and a cocktail bar.
The Head Chef/owner has a very craft-led approach to food. Everything is prepared in-house from scratch with excellent attention to detail. The team is young, focused and work hard. This kitchen is always busy.
We are looking for someone special, an enthusiastic professional chef with several years experience at Sous Chef level in a similar fresh food environment cooking to 2AA rosette standard. You will have a proven track record of strong kitchen management, including online stock takes and ordering, full HACCP audit, staff records and compliance. You will be capable of mentoring junior chefs and maintaining the company high standards in every aspect of the job reporting directly to the Head Chef and owner. xwzovoh

Required: Qualifications / Skills / Experience
Passion and enthusiasm for food and quality,
Minimum 2 years as Sous Chef
Creative flair & attention to detail
Team player with a strong work ethic
Meticulous, organised and punctual
Our ideal candidate will be well-organised and reliable, up to date with modern cooking techniques, capable of moving between sections as needed, and comfortable managing a brigade of 18 chefs in a busy fresh food kitchen when left in charge.
