About the Role We are seeking a commercially minded Technical Sales Manager to join our growing team. This is a customer-facing role that combines technical expertise with sales acumen, supporting clients in identifying and implementing tailored engineering solutions. You will act as a key link between customers, engineering, and internal teams—translating technical requirements into practical solutions while driving business growth. Key Responsibilities * Engage with customers to understand technical requirements and application needs * Provide pre-sales technical support, including product selection, recommendations, and solution design * Prepare and deliver technical proposals, quotations, and presentations * Support the sales process from initial enquiry through to order placement * Build and maintain strong, long-term customer relationships * Collaborate with internal engineering and product teams to ensure solutions meet customer expectations * Assist in identifying new business opportunities and markets * Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and pipeline activity Requirements * Degree or equivalent experience in Engineering, Electronics, Physics, or a related field * Basic understanding of electronics and/or technical systems * Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly * Customer-focused mindset with a proactive approach to problem-solving * Commercial awareness and interest in sales * Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities * Willingness to learn and develop technical expertise Desirable (Not Essential) * Experience in a technical sales, applications, or customer-facing engineering role * Familiarity with components, systems integration, or engineering solutions * Experience working with CRM systems What We Offer * Full product and industry training (no prior specialist experience required) * Opportunity to develop both technical and commercial skills * A collaborative and supportive team environment * Career progression within a growing business Why Join Us?
