Floor Layer

R9 Recruitment are looking for an experienced and skilled Floor Layer to join our clients growing team. You’ll play a key part in delivering high‑quality flooring installations across residential properties, working to high standards of safety, accuracy, and customer care. Key Responsibilities * Install a variety of flooring types including vinyl, carpet, laminate, lino, safety flooring, and tiles. * Carry out floor preparation works such as screeding, levelling, and damp‑proofing. * Conduct repairs and maintenance on existing flooring. * Measure and assess work areas to ensure accurate material usage. * Work independently or as part of a team to deliver works on time and to spec. * Ensure all work complies with relevant health and safety regulations. * Provide excellent customer service to tenants, residents, and clients. What We’re Looking For * Proven experience as a Floor Layer (domestic or commercial). * Strong knowledge of flooring materials, tools, and installation techniques. * Ability to interpret job specifications, drawings, and measurements. * High attention to detail and pride in craftsmanship. * Full UK driving licence (company vehicle may be provided). * CSCS card (preferred). * Excellent communication and customer‑facing skills.
