As our contracts expand, there are several positions currently available starting in April 2026. We urgently need D Licence and D1 Licence Drivers. TransportConnect Ltd delivers Special Educational Needs Transport and CallConnect Transport to give people from all walks of life, accessibility to their community. If you are a focussed individual who enjoys driving and caring for people in the wider community, please apply. The current hourly rate for a driver is £13.36 per hour. We are looking to employ people who are currently professional bus drivers as well as newcomers to the Passenger Services Transport industry. A full enhanced DBS check will be performed on any candidates and we would look to train any younger or new to transport applicants, who have the right outlook and commitment to the business. There is a career progression in Passenger Service Transport from 8-Seater, to D1, D and from there movement to Lead Driver, Supervisor, Office based CPC holder up to Transport Manager. It is a sector of work for any age of committed hardworking individual.
